About Rosa
Rosa is twenty two years old and frequently gets that panicked feeling that she probably should have done a bit more with her life by now. She is from Leeds, England, but spends most of her time in St Andrews, Scotland, where she is studying for her undergraduate degree in English Literature. She likes it better there, but please don’t tell her parents.
Her favourite books are The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde), Mrs Dalloway (Virginia Woolf), The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald), Midnight’s Children (Salman Rushdie), Nineteen Eighty-Four (George Orwell), Jane Eyre (Charlotte Brontë), On The Road (Jack Kerouac) and Hazel Green (Odo Hirsch). She also enjoys the poetry of Carol Ann Duffy, Tony Harrison, John Masefield, Don Paterson and Frank O’Hara. She finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in under six hours and is an unpublished poet. She hopes that someone important and influential is reading this, because she would really like to stop being unpublished. Rosa is also currently writing a musical. Please don’t ask her about it, as she’s convinced everyone is going to steal her brilliant idea. She accepts all donations, as long as they are edible.
